Feed the Body: Red

The Root Chakra is associated with red fruits, root vegetables, heavy proteins and spices with some heat and they are considered morning foods..  The only other chakra associated with heavy foods is the Solar Plexus which has grains, protein and milk and is consider mid-day foods.  The other 5 chakras are not associated with heavy foods.

Remember your colour meal plan can be:

  1.  Coloured foods combined on one plate
  2.  Coloured foods at set times without combining colours
  3.  One colour spectrum for the day.

Living foods are highly recommended in these suggestions.  Obtaining foods as close to the source as possible will increase the nutrition value absorbed by your body.

Let’s look at some food choices and combining for the Root Chakra reds.
